Say Hi to Farah from Iraqi-Kurdistan

Farah’s family left Iran two generations ago in search of safety. The cost of her safety was (and continues to be) statelessness.

Farah is 10 now. Without citizenship, she can never attend university or get a passport.

Last March, I invited Farah onstage during a show in Iraqi-Kurdistan. She lit up! After the show, she told me, “When I grow up, I want to be like you. I will be a clown too.”
